Welcome to Sandy Ski House!

The perfect location to launch your Utah adventure! One bedroom, a futon and a large loft area sleeps a family of 4 comfortably. Features include a full kitchen, washer and dryer, flat screen TV and a wood burning stove. Compared to the local Comfort Inn type lodging it's a better location, better view, better amenities, better price...just better! The house is located in White City Township very close to the intersection of 10600 South and 1300 East (That's 106 blocks south of the Temple in downtown Salt Lake and 13 blocks east). It has a Sandy, Utah mailing address. The rear of the property butts up against Dimple Dell Park. The exact street address will be provided if/when appropriate. The house is very conveniently located close to 9 major ski areas, Salt Lake City and the airport, main access roads, Dimple Dell Regional Park, Ski Bus Park & Ride lots, and a wide variety of amenities.

• 1 minute walk out the backyard to Dimple Dell Regional Park for hiking, jogging and horseback riding.
• 5 minute walk to a Beans & Brews Coffee House, Chevron gas station, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, bike shop and banking options.
• 5 minute drive (12 minute walk thru Dimple Dell Park) to a Smith's grocery store, Subway, a great Indian restaurant and 24-hour gym.
• 8 minute drive to Alta View Hospital and walk-in clinic.
• 8 minute drive to I-15 for direct access to Salt Lake City (20 minute drive), the airport (25 minute drive) or points south.
• 10 minute drive to Rio Tinto Stadium for Real Salt Lake professional soccer.

The open floorplan style house is approximately 600 sq. ft. It is located at the rear of the property, behind the main house on the circle, and includes a queen size bed, fold out futon and loft area to sleep a maximum of 3 adults and 2 kids.

There is a living room area with a wood burning stove and wall mounted big-screen TV, a dining room table that seats 5, full kitchen with island seating for 3, a full bath with a tiled shower and a small mud/utility room with a stacked washer and dryer. Think of Sandy Ski House as your home away from home. Everything typically provided in a condo is here. The kitchen includes a variety of pots and pans and plenty of utensils, dishes and silverware.There’s a coffee maker (with filters), microwave, toaster oven, dishwasher and partially stocked refrigerator.

There are plenty of towels and sheets for the bed. The loft includes padding, sheets and blankets for a cozy kid’s adventure.

Directions on how to use the TV and wi-fi are spelled out. There’s directions and plenty of wood and starting material to get a nice fire going in the wood burning stove.

Central air for the summer and gas heat (or the wood burning stove) in the winter Sandy Ski House is a separate outbuilding behind the main house. There’s a large deck attached to the
outbuilding. Guests are welcome to smoke OUTSIDE only. Pets are welcome if well behaved and if you clean up after them. Guests are liable for any damages caused by pets. Please run the dishwasher and otherwise leave it the way you found it.

The house's general location and proximity to Dimple Dell Park provide a nearly unobstructed 180 degree view from the rear of the property to the front range of the Wasatch Mtns. to the east and the lights of West Jordan and the Salt Lake valley to the west. The entrance to both Little Cottonwood Canyon and Big Cottonwood Canyon are visible. Click here for pictures.

Because the property is on the end of a circle, parking immediately adjacent to the house may be a problem and guests may be asked to park a short distance away after unloading.
